  • 2003 - Acquired substantially all the assets of North American Archery Group.
  • 2003 - Acquired Schleicher & Co. International AG, a world leader in the manufacture and distribution of data shredders with subsidiaries in Austria, Czech Republic, China, England, France, India and the USA.
  • 2002 - Acquired the Step product line from Bollinger Industries.
  • 2001 - Acquired substantially all of the assets of Zue Corporation which manufactures high quality basketball systems.
  • 2001 - Acquired substantially all the assets of Accudart, a leading name in darts, including exclusive distribution rights to the brand name Winmau, a leading name in dartboards.
  • 2001 - Acquired substantially all the assets of U.S. Weights, Inc., the only U.S. manufacturer of filled vinyl weights and sets.
  • 2000 - Acquired table tennis assets of Lifetime Products, Inc.
  • 1999 - Sold 50% interest in Escalade International, Ltd. to management group who assumed all responsibilities for day-to-day operations.
  • 1999 - Acquired certain assets of Mead Hatcher for the manufacture and distribution of keyboard drawers, computer storage, copyholders, media retention systems and posting trays.
  • 1997 - Acquisition of Master Products Manufacturing Company, Inc., a manufacturer of paper punches and catalog rack systems.
  • 1994 - Acquired certain assets of Data-Link Corporation which manufactured products to apply postage and other stamps.
  • 1992 - Escalade International, Ltd. established in United Kingdom to distribute sporting goods products in Europe.
  • 1990 - Office and graphic arts products consolidated into a new manufacturing/office facility built in Wabash, Indiana.
  • 1989 - Company initiated limited manufacturing in Tijuana, Mexico under a shelter program known as "maquiladora".
  • 1988 - Acquired business machine division assets of Swingline, Inc.
  • 1983 - Harvard Table Tennis, Inc. consolidated with Harvard Sports, Inc.
  • 1982 - Introduction of basketball backboards, goals and poles.
  • 1980 - Acquisition of Harvard Sports, Inc. (formerly Crown Recreation (West), Inc.), a California manufacturer of table tennis tables and home pool tables.
  • 1979 - Martin Yale leisure time product line sold to an unaffiliated party.
  • 1976 - Williams Manufacturing footwear operations discontinued.
  • 1973 - Acquisition of Harvard Table Tennis, Inc., a Massachusetts manufacturer of table tennis accessories.
  • 1973 - The Company acquired Indian Industries, Inc., an Indiana manufacturer of archery equipment and table tennis tables.
  • 1972 - Merged with Martin Yale Industries, Inc., an Illinois manufacturer of office and graphic arts products; and leisure time items such as toys and hobby/craft items.
  • 1922 - The Williams Manufacturing Company, an Ohio based manufacturer and retailer of women's and children's footwear was formed.
