Escalade Sports Partners with Professional Billiards Player Jeanette Lee

Evansville, IN (February 12, 2003) Escalade, Inc. (NASDAQ: ESCA), through its wholly owned subsidiary, Escalade Sports, has signed a multi-year billiards product endorsement with Jeanette Lee, a.k.a. “The Black Widow.” In addition to endorsing the Murrey and Mosconi billiard brands, Escalade and Lee will jointly develop a line of “Black Widow” billiard equipment and accessories.

In 2001, Lee captured the Gold Medal in the 2001 World Games and has consistently been ranked as one of the top players in the sport since taking third place in her first professional tournament at the age of 21. By age 24, Lee was ranked #1 in the Women’s Professional Billiard Association (WPBA). She is currently ranked third in the WPBA.

Jeanette’s dominant playing style and sex appeal are embodied in her signature trademark: The Black Widow. Billiards Digest recently voted her the third Most Powerful person in billiards.

In addition to her brilliance on the billiards table, Jeanette is commitment to helping children through her support of the Scoliosis Foundation charity.
